Cars 2 and Haircuts

Found out very last minute that they had lifesize replicas of the cars in the CARS 2 movie out this summer down at Crown Center so packed up Alexander and headed down there. He was thrilled.

There were so many people there - we climbed the steps up by the ice terrace to get this picture.


The new movie has the characters acting as secret agents - here is Alex's version of a secret agent!


Daddy set up his baber shop in the kitchen and got to work.

He cut Alex's hair into the very last Buster Brown cut....he's getting too big too fast!



I didn't get a picture of him trimming Ashleigh's hair.

Mommy even got a cut. I haven't had my hair this short since probably 1985! But I love it! Great job Daddy!

Sleepover, Power Play and an Anniversary

A treat - the kids got to spend the night at MeMaw's and go to Blair's play the next day!


Mommy took the last day of spring break off work and we went to POWER PLAY!! The kids had a blast!




Towards the end of our day - you can tell they were getting tired.



Today marks the 4 year anniversary of Mark's heart attack. I will never forget the call I got from the paramedics - being 7 months pregnant with Ashleigh - that was not a great call to receive. Thankfully the doctors worked quickly, put stents in his heart and here we are......four years later. Wow time sure goes fast!!

Nicer Weather/Rescheduled Birthday Dinner

All four of these pictures were taken by Alexander. I just randomly find them on my camera from time to time. It's nice that the weather is FINALLY to where the kids can go outside and play!

REWIND - dentist appointment and the sick ward

The Kids had their first dentist appointments with Dr. Cannon.

Alexander went first, of course.


Ashleigh was all smiles......


...until it was her turn.


The following weekend was a sick ward around our house. We even missed my annual birthday dinner at Mom's.

The kids had strep. I didn't get a picture of Alex I guess.


Ashleigh wasn't eating or sleeping very much so we didn't have the heart to wake her when we found her sleeping so soundly on the floor next to her bed because she was SNORING!


Even Mommy wasn't immune - I ended up with a sinus infection and bronchitis! Daddy thought he was cute taking this picture.
